Chapter 3: focus on character development. How have each of the major character changed or not changed?
Complete the chart on the OneNote that asks you to track how Jack, Ralph, Piggy, and Simon have developed, if at all.
21 minutes of reading
Chapters 4 and 5: focus on the development of the conflicts of the story (internal and external). Annotate in your books or electronically if you're an e-reader and track the developments in the conflicts (the boys are stuck on an island, tensions between Ralph and Jack, tensions between Piggy and Jack, etc.)
